Can't come on the day you bought tickets for? Send an email to info@wereldmuseum.nl and we will help you move to another day. Please note that no refunds will be made for tickets already purchased.
We noticed that most people have spent three hours taking in the information and prefer to come back again. If you visit one of the individual exhibitions, you usually spend between half an hour and an hour. This of course depends on whether you read everything, etc.

Next to the museum, at Mobypark, there is opportunity to park for a fee, but only a limited number of parking spaces are available. It is easier to park at QPark Oostpoort. This is just a 10-minute walk from the museum.
For the disabled, two parking spaces are available in the car park of the adjacent Amsterdam Tropen Hotel. You can use these parking spaces upon showing your disabled pass. Reservations are not required.

Photography is permitted at the Wereldmuseum Amsterdam, including flash photography. Tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed. Press or other professional photographers, wishing to use a tripod, can apply for permission by emailing to info@wereldmuseum.nl.
We often receive requests like these. Unfortunately we do not have enough capacity to guide and therefore we cannot fulfill these requests.
The Wereldmuseum Amsterdam is accessible to wheelchair users: there are no thresholds and an elevator gives access to all floors. The museum has several unmechanised wheelchairs for visitors. Mobility scooters are not permitted in the museum.
