Did you know you can create your own artwork using LEGO®? Come to Wereldmuseum Amsterdam and get inspired by the work of Ekow Nimako. Join the LEGO® Printing Workshop and make your own futuristic print! Inspired by Ekow Nimako, an artist who built a vision of the future using over one million black LEGO® bricks, you’ll create your own print of what’s to come.
During the upcoming weekends and holidays, work on your own vision of the future. With this printing technique, instead of stacking upward, every LEGO® brick is placed on the same level. You design your own pattern and print it. You can even layer prints on top of each other to create new shapes and patterns. What do you imagine in the city of the future? Smart buildings, quirky inventions, dancing bridges, or robot trees? Come and join in!
