Be amazed this autumn holiday at Wereldmuseum Amsterdam. Take part in one of the many activities in the interactive exhibition Raad van de Raaf. In Kuluk's kitchen, you'll cook the most delicious dishes and snacks, or join a museum educator who will guide you through the exhibition. In the Light Hall, you can create a poster with your own message for the climate. Check out the full program below.

Please note: from October 13 to 17, Raad van de Raaf opens at 12:00 PM. On weekends and from October 20 to 24, Raad van de Raaf is open all day.

FEEST! Wereldwijd: Maak Mexicaanse calaveras voor Día de Muertos

Oefen met metaalbewerking en maak zelf een schedel van blik. Tijdens Día de Muertos zie je overal zie je kleurrijke schedels en skeletten, die heten calaveras. Je ziet ze op graven, in huizen en op altaren. Ze horen bij het feest en laten zien dat er leven is na de dood. Wil je zelf iets maken voor Día de Muertos? Kom naar Wereldmuseum Amsterdam en maak zelf calaveras van blik.

Story Time

Especially for the little ones, we’ll be reading stories every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Raad van de Raaf.

Cooking with Kuluk

Delicious smells await in the Greenlandic Kuluk’s kitchen. Together with a museum educator, you'll make Romkugler (cake balls from leftover cake) or Village Soup using seasonal vegetables.

For: children aged 6 and up
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 PM
Dates: October 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, and 26
Price: €2.50, excluding museum ticket

Raad van de Raaf Tour

Explore the Raad van de Raaf exhibition with a museum educator who will guide you and share fascinating stories! After the tour, join either the Greenlandic Cake cooking workshop or a Create Your Own (Action) Poster workshop.

For: children aged 6 and up
Time: daily from 3:00 – 3:45 PM. Also on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30 – 2:15 PM.

Workshop: Create Your Own Poster for the Planet

The Raad van de Raaf is made up of children taking action for the climate. Do you have a great idea for how we can take better care of the Earth? This is your chance to create a poster with your message! Get inspired by the Raad van de Raaf exhibition and get creative.

For: children aged 6 and up
Time: daily from 12:00 – 4:00 PM, drop in when there’s space, last entry at 3:30 PM

Gratis rondleiding

Op zoek naar nog meer verdieping? Sluit aan bij onze instaprondleidingen! Elke dag kan je met een van onze museumdocenten meer te weten komen over onze tentoonstellingen. De rondleiding gaat langs één of meerdere expo’s. Informeer op de dag zelf bij de kassa of informatiebalie naar het onderwerp.
