Free Guided Tours + Creative Activity: Made in China 

Looking for more in-depth insights? Join one of our walk-in guided tours! Every Saturday and Sunday, our museum educators will guide you through our exhibitions. Starting November 2, the tour will focus entirely on the Made in China exhibition, and you can also take part in a creative workshop. Until then, the tour will cover one or more of our other exhibitions.

Discover the Art of Making in Made in China

Starting November 2, Wereldmuseum Amsterdam offers a free guided tour every Sunday through the Made in China exhibition. Explore the past and present of China’s making culture—from trade networks and traditional techniques to the visions of contemporary artists. Join the creative activity and discover the art of copying by creating your own block-printed painting, inspired by masterpieces from the renowned artist Qi Baishi.

Practical Information

  • Time: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
  • Who it's for: Everyone is welcome
  • Cost: The guided tour is free. A valid museum ticket is required. Book your museum ticket below, including a reservation for the tour.
  • Reservation: Spots are limited. Reserve your place below in advance, or on the day itself at the ticket desk or information counter in the museum.
