Free Guided Tours  

Looking for more in-depth insights? Join one of our walk-in guided tours! Every Saturday and Sunday, our museum educators will guide you through our exhibitions. This summer, our museum guides will take you on a tour to see their favorite objects. Whose tour would you like to join? Stay tuned for more information here about our museum guides and the themes of their tours. On the weekends of August 22 and 29, the tour will focus entirely on the “Made in China” exhibition, and you can also participate in a hands-on activity.

This summer, our museum guides will take you on a tour to see their favorite objects. Which themes or objects appeal to them, and why?   • When: Daily starting July 4 through August 16 
  • Time: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
  • Who it's for: Everyone is welcome
  • Cost: The guided tour is free. A valid museum ticket is required. Book your museum ticket below, including a reservation for the tour.
  • Reservation: Spots are limited. Reserve your place below in advance, or on the day itself at the ticket desk or information counter in the museum.

Free guided tour and craft activity at Made in China

During the final weekends of the Made in China exhibition, you can join a free guided tour through the exhibition. Explore the past and present of China’s making culture—from trade networks and traditional techniques to the visions of contemporary artists. Join the creative activity and discover the art of copying by creating your own block-printed painting, inspired by masterpieces from the renowned artist Qi Baishi.
