For her performance in the Wereldmuseum, Dalilla was inspired by the stories behind the grains of rice enslaved people braided into their hair. A video about this can be seen in the exhibition Our Colonial Legacy.
Dalilla Hermans (b. 1986) is a journalist, writer, playwright and (podcast) host. She has made it her mission to discuss and address racism and discrimination. Her work focuses on storytelling, imagination and representation in the broadest sense.
