The new temporary exhibition Building Black Civilizations – THE NILE 3025 CE presents an impressive Afrofuturist artwork by Ekow Nimako, constructed from one million black LEGO® bricks. This monumental piece is the internationally renowned artist’s largest architectural work to date and marks his debut in the Netherlands. Nimako’s work has previously been exhibited in museums and galleries in Toronto, New York, Paris, Dubai, Seoul, London, San Francisco, Vienna, and at the Berlin Biennale.
