Snakes and Ladders
2 to 4 players - ± 15 minutes · board with 100 squares
Aim
Be the first to reach square 100.
Play
Roll the dice to decide who starts. The highest roll begins.
Put your counter at the bottom of the board. Take turns rolling the die and moving forward that many squares.
If you land at the foot of a ladder, you climb up to the top. If you land on the head of a snake, you slide down to its tail.
Snakes and ladders only work if your turn ends exactly on that square. Passing one on your way does nothing.
Winner
The first player to land exactly on square 100. If you roll more than you need, you move up to 100 and then back down again with the rest.
