Raad van de Raaf

The new interactive exhibition (formerly Tropenmuseum Junior).

What’s the programme?

What is going on at the Wereldmuseum Amsterdam? There are feathers everywhere, and is that a raven flying past the window?

In Raad van de Raaf, you will meet a global club of children who are committed to a better climate. They are looking for children in the Netherlands who want to join them! You will hear the story of Ivalu from Greenland, who is visited by a raven that tells her we need to take better care of the earth. At the headquarters of the Raad van de Raaf, you will see how people around the world are already living with the consequences of climate change. And you will get to work yourself, cooking, exercising, philosophizing, or making posters. As you do so, you will discover how people around the world are connected to each other and to nature. How can we make a difference together? In a cheerful conclusion, everything and everyone comes together.
