ADE: Chinese Club Culture

What’s the state of Chinese club culture today? We explore this question with live performances, DJ sets & a talk show 🎤 featuring Yu Su (DJ, currently London based), SUNK (DJ, Beijing), Tommy Hendriks (DJ and organizer Yin Yang Music Festival) and China born artist Kexin Hao. Host: Lin An Phoa

🍹 A healing Chinese medicine cocktail by CHAxART x Thien-Kim Tran to welcome you + a visit to the newly opened Made in China exhibition.

Chinese artists are increasingly shaping their own unique styles – from music and dance to fashion and visual culture. They mix traditional influences with global sounds and vibes, and there's a thriving underground scene not known to many. Where does innovation come from?  In what ways can we inspire each other beyond the copy?

Experience it during a thought-provoking evening in the monumental Lichthal of Wereldmuseum Amsterdam (formerly Tropenmuseum), filled with music, performances, and conversations about creativity, culture, and cultural cross-pollination.
